Apart from Ajith Kumar, the film boasts a stellar cast, including Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Aarav and Ramya Subramanian in pivotal roles. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, Vidaamuyarchi follows the gripping story of Arjun, a man on a mission to find his missing wife after she is kidnapped in Azerbaijan. The film combines action, emotion, and suspense, keeping the audience engaged throughout.
In an interview, actor Aarav shared his experience of working with Ajith Kumar. He praised the star for his kindness and generosity, saying, “He is not just a brilliant actor but also someone who encourages his co-stars. Instead of giving advice, he shares stories from his own career, which are truly inspiring.”
Meanwhile, Regina Cassandra spoke about her role in Vidaamuyarchi and how it challenged her as an actor. “I have been acting for 20 years, and I know my strengths. Magizh sir told me that this film would let people see the performer in me. My character in Vidaamuyarchi has many layers, and I believe this film gave me the opportunity to showcase that,” she said.
The film, which was initially scheduled for a Pongal 2025 release, faced a delay before finally hitting theatres. Its music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while Om Prakash handled the cinematography and N B Srikanth took care of the editing.
