Viduthalai 2 OTT Release Update: Vijay Sethupathi and Manju Warrier starrer Tamil movie has been running at a slow pace at the box office. The film hit the silver screens on December 20, 2024 and faced several big clashes with movies like Pushpa 2: The Rule and Baby John. Viduthalai 2 has a box office collection of Rs 34.26 after 9 days of release. As per the latest report, the movie is set to be released on OTT much earlier than expected. Viduthalai 2 OTT Release Update

As per OTTplay, Viduthalai 2 will start streaming on Zee5 on January 17, 2025. However, the makers are yet to comment on the OTT release date. The film will also be available on OTTplay Premium. 

About Viduthalai 2

The movie revolves around the life of a cop who has to capture the leader of people’s movement. The movie features Vijay Sethupathi, Manju Warrier, Bhavani Sre, Soori, Surya Sethupathi, Tamizh and Gautham Vasudev Menon in key roles. It has been directed by Vetrimaaran. The movie was made on a budget of around Rs 65 crore. It is the sequel of the 2021 film. Viduthalai Part 1 had a box office collection of Rs 36.98 after 6 week collection. The part 2 has been performing better than the prequel.  Anurag Kashyap is also an essential part of the film. The music of the film has been done by Ilaiyaraaja. 

While wishing Merry Christmas to his fans, Vijay Sethupathi shared a poster and wrote “Team #Viduthalai2 wishes you a Merry Christmas! Film by #VetriMaaran An @ilaiyaraaja Musical.” In the poster, Vaathiyar (Vijay Sethupathi) can be seen enjoying dinner time with his family.
