Filmmaker Vignesh Shivan's upcoming project, 'LIC aka Love Insurance Corporation,' purportedly received a notice from the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) regarding the usage of its title. The notice reportedly includes a directive to the filmmakers, urging them to alter the film's name within seven days. Failure to comply could potentially result in legal repercussions for the film's team.

It includes a warning of potential legal consequences if the film's title isn't altered within the stipulated seven days. Failure to make the change might lead to legal action on grounds of alleged copyright infringement. Vignesh and the team are yet to respond on the same.

'Love Insurance Corporation' stars actor and filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in pivotal roles, with SJ Suryah also featuring prominently. Announced in December of the previous year, the film marked an exciting collaboration between Vignesh Shivan, Pradeep, and Krithi. Vignesh Shivan expressed gratitude for this dream project, sharing photos from the muhurat ceremony. Shared photos, he worte, "Thanking God and the universe for making this dream project of mine come true."

The movie, a joint venture between Seven Screen Studio and Rowdy Pictures, is set to showcase the musical brilliance of Anirudh Ravichander, a frequent collaborator with Shivan. Additionally, the cinematography will be helmed by Ravi Varman.
