He talked about his personal life during a four-hour-long discussion. In the midst of this, an old interview of actress Sameera Reddy has surfaced in which she discussed his special role at her wedding. For the unversed, Sameera Reddy married Akshai Varde in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony on January 21, 2014. Many rumours were circulating at the time that her uncle was the Indian liquor tycoon Vijay Mallya, well known as the 'King Of Good Times.' But are you aware that he is said to have performed Sameera Reddy's wedding ritual?
Vijay Mallya had performed Sameera Reddy's kanyadaan, as per an ABP report. Even while he and Sameera were not directly related, the report stated that they had a strong bond. The business tycoon performed the kanyadaan ceremony for the Bollywood actress, who looked just as captivating at her wedding.

Sameera Reddy once revealed during a media interaction that Vijay Mallya, who attended her wedding, performed her kanyadaan rite, according to the same report. Even though the former businessman was not her biological uncle, he walked her down the aisle on her wedding.
About Sameera Reddy's Maharashtrian Wedding
The wedding itself was a low-key event that only family members and close friends attended. Prior to the big day, however, Sameera's relationship with her now-husband, Akshai Varde, had a unique turn of events and didn't begin as smoothly as one might have thought.
Sameera once talked about how she and Akshai first connected during a Tezz movie marketing event, according to the Free Press Journal. She met him when she had to ride a motorcycle as part of the campaign; he was the owner of the business that was hosting the event.
Sameera Reddy said, "It was my lucky day because the owner of the company, Akshai Varde, came too. It was love at first sight for me. I was besotted, and I almost dropped the bike while riding it. He seemed to be more worried about the bike than me. Funny that he didn’t even consider dating me or look at me in that way. I had to make all the first moves, and yes, I asked him for his number first!"

Meanwhile, Sameera Reddy made her Bollywood debut alongside Sohail Khan in the film Maine Dil Tujhko Diya in 2002. The movie also starred Sanjay Dutt in a significant role. After that, she appeared in Tezz, Race, De Dana Dan, Taxi Number 9211, and Musafir.
