Is Queen 2 in making? Fans have been eagerly waiting for the sequel of Kangana Ranaut starrer movie. Filmmaker Vikas Bahl, who is all set to come up with the movie Dil Ka Darwaaza Khol Na Darling, recently spilled beans about the much-awaited sequel of Queen.

During a recent Pinkvilla Masterclass, Bahl revealed, “We have been working on Queen 2 for a while now and finally we have something concrete."

Vikas earlier in an interview with News18 Showsha shared his views on making the sequel. He said, “It is going to be ten years of Queen’s release, but the number of people who keep asking me about Queen 2 makes me feel like the film released just yesterday! I am happy to say that we have actually finished writing our story. So, yes, the sequel should happen."

The demand for Queen 2 started surfacing online ever since Bahl gave a major hint that a sequel was in the works and Kangana Ranaut would reprise her role. Adding to the excitement, Kangana also reacted to the announcement made by the director last year. She posted 'Yessss' on her Instagram handle.

>Besides Queen, Bahl also shed some light on his upcoming movie Dil Ka Darwaaza Khol Na Darling starring Siddhanth Chaturvedi, Wamiqa Gabbi and Jaya Bachchan. He added, “It’s a great cast – We have Siddhanth Chaturvedi, Wamiqa Gabbi and Jaya Bachchan, who is doing something she has not done for years. We are loving the process of making it. Almost 80 percent of the film is locked. It’s a crazy romantic comedy.”

The filmmaker also shared that he is planning for Shaitaan 2 as well. “It should get made, but I tend to get very distracted with all the new stories coming my way. Like right now, I am jealous to have not gotten into the mindset of making a universe. That aside, I also have an action thriller with me. I want to explore a new world."

About Movie Queen

Released in 2014, Queen is one of the most iconic movies in the career of Kangana Ranaut. The movie is based on a girl Rani Mehra (Kangana) who decides to go on her honeymoon alone after her fiance Vijay Dhingra (Rajkummar Rao) cancels their wedding just a day before. Kangana's way of bringing Rani to life, made her win her second National Award.
