Vinesh Phogat has created history by becoming the first Indian female wrestler to qualify for an Olympic final. She has also confirmed India's fourth medal in the Paris Olympics 2024 and will surely take home the silver medal. Indians are overjoyed after witnessing Vinesh Phogat's big win and took to their social media handles to congratulate the ace wrestler. Many netizens also urged Aamir Khan and Nitesh Tiwari to make 'Dangal 2'.
For the unversed, Nitesh Tiwari directed 'Dangal', which is based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters Geeta and Babita as they won gold medals at the Commonwealth Games. Vinesh is the cousin of Geeta and Babita and her cousin Ritu Phogat also won a gold medal at the 2016 Commonwealth Wrestling Championship. Fans urged Aamir Khan and Nitesh Tiwari to make 'Dangal 2' and base it on the life of Vinesh Phogat.

Talking about Vinesh Phogat, Neeraj Chopra earlier said, “This is extraordinary. To beat Susaki is unreal. The effort that she (Vinesh Phogat) has shown after what she has gone through is incredible. All the best to her!
Her win has also marked a historic first loss in international circuits for ace wrestler Japanese Susaki.
Vinesh Phogat has now confirmed India's fourth medal at the ongoing games and will surely be taking at least the silver medal home. She will also become only the second Indian female wrestler after Sakshi Malik to win an Olympic medal. She had to exit the game in the previous Olympics appearances in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.
