Pink (Amazon Prime Video)

Legal thriller directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, boasts a screenplay by Shoojit Sircar, Ritesh Shah, and Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. Produced by Rising Sun Films, it features a stellar ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, and more. It won the Best Film on Other Social Issues category at the 64th National Film Awards and received multiple nominations at the 62nd Filmfare Awards, winning Best Dialogue for Ritesh Shah.

Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai (Zee5)

Starring Manoj Bajpayee, this courtroom drama is inspired by real events and centers around lawyer PC Solanki (Bajpayee), based on a prominent lawyer involved in a high-profile rape case against a self-proclaimed godman, alluded to as "Baba" in the film. Directed by debutant filmmaker Apoorv Singh Karki, the movie cleverly navigates its portrayal of the case without directly naming the accused, Asaram Bapu.

Jolly LLB 2 (Disney+ Hotstar)

Directed and written by Subhash Kapoor, it stars Akshay Kumar as Jagdishwar Mishra, the movie replaced Arshad Warsi from the original. Alongside Kumar, Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor, Kumud Mishra, and Saurabh Shukla, who reprises his role, feature in the film. Set in Lucknow, it follows a lawyer's battle against a powerful advocate to seek justice for a victim of a fake encounter involving a corrupt police officer.

The Trial (Disney+ Hotstar)

Adapted from The Good Wife by Robert King and Michelle King, 'The Trial: Pyaar Kaanoon Dhokha' is a 2023 legal drama series. Directed by Suparn Verma, it stars Kajol as Noyonika Sengupta, a housewife turned lawyer to support her family after her husband's imprisonment. The series, released on 14 July 2023, follows Noyonika as she navigates the challenges of her new career while dealing with her husband's scandal.

Guilty Minds (Amazon Prime Video)

Written and directed by Shefali Bhushan and Jayant Digambar Somalkar, it stars Shriya Pilgaonkar, Varun Mitra, Sugandha Garg, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and Satish Kaushik. The plot follows three law school friends, Kashaf Quaze, Deepak Rana, and Vandana Kathpalia, navigating various legal challenges in court. The series tackles issues like rape, artificial intelligence, and water scarcity, reflecting on the characters' lives and principles.

Jai Bhim (Amazon Prime Video)

Tamil legal drama film directed by T. J. Gnanavel and produced by Jyothika and Suriya under 2D Entertainment. It highlights police bias and state violence against a marginalized community, based on a real-life incident involving Justice K. Chandru. In 1993, Rajakannu and Sengeni, from the Irula tribe, face injustice when Rajakannu is falsely accused of theft. The police brutally mistreat them, leading to Rajakannu's death in custody. Lawyer Chandru takes up their case, uncovering police corruption and securing justice. Sengeni is compensated, and Chandru helps fulfill Rajakannu's dream of buying a new home for Sengeni.
