However, one actor that stands out in terms of paying taxes is none other than 'Pathaan' star Deepika Padukone.

Given that she paid a staggering Rs 10 crore in taxes in the FY 2016–2017 and has continued to pay an estimated amount of money in taxes ever since, Deepika Padukone is currently regarded as the biggest tax-paying actress in Bollywood. Deepika is the celebrity who makes the most money from endorsements, claims Forbes India.

Deepika Padukone: Net Worth

According to a number of media sources, the 'Chennai Express' actor has a net worth of roughly Rs 500 crore. If accurate, she would rank as India's second-richest female celebrity. With a 620 crore rupee estimated net worth, Priyanka Chopra tops the list.

It is pertinent to note that no other female actor, except for Deepika Padukone, has paid close to Rs 10 crore in taxes as of yet. Alia Bhatt, who is known to pay between Rs 5-6 crore in taxes annually, is ranked second on the list.

Deepika Charges This Whopping Amount For Movie, Brand Endorsements

According to StockGro, Deepika Padukone has an estimated net worth of around Rs 500 crore and she earns Rs 40 crore per year. She currently charges Rs 15-2- crore for movies and over Rs 8 crore for brand endorsements.

The highest tax-paying male actor in Bollywood is Akshay Kumar, despite the fact that Deepika Padukone tops the list of female actor, according to numerous media reports. Akshay Kumar reportedly pays taxes totaling more than Rs 25 crore annually. 

Deepika has 'Project K' in the pipeline, for which she reportedly charged Rs 10 crore, while her co-star Prabhas is taking home a whopping Rs 150 crore. For 'Fighter', co-starring Hrithik Roshan in the lead role, the 'Bajirao Mastani' actor has charged Rs 20 crore. If the reports are to be believed, the acclaimed actor has charged Rs 8-11 crore for 'Jawan', co-starring Nayanthara and Shah Rukh Khan in lead roles. She also has 'Singham 3' and 'The Intern' in the pipeline.
