The BTS members and their devoted fanbase, known as ARMY, have consistently shown a strong desire to look out for and safeguard Kim Taehyung, affectionately referred to as BTS V. It's not unexpected that ARMY, along with other BTS members, holds a deep appreciation for V, who is often fondly referred to as the "Maknae," meaning the youngest brother in Korean. Even when there is a need for gentle guidance or correction, their affection and protective instincts towards V remain unwavering. But do you know when he was in school, he saved his BFF Jimin from the bullies?

When BTS V Saved Jimin From Bullies

While BTS V shares a deep friendship with all his bandmates, his connection with Jimin has always been a talking point. Before V and Jimin joined BTS as bandmates, both shared a close friendship. When the duo initially entered the Big Hit Entertainment agency, they were later moved to different high schools during their second year of studies. Jimin faced a bit of a challenge in Seoul because of his distinctive Busan accent, which led some of his classmates to make fun of him.

However, during this difficult period, V stood by Jimin's side and provided unwavering support. As a result of this shared experience, their friendship deepened, and they grew even closer. During their show Bon Voyage, V read out a letter to Jimin, mentioning, “Before our debut, you once got anxious about it. At the time, I had a meeting with the company and they asked me what I thought of you being on the team. I thought it over and said that you were there for me through the ups and downs. You were the one who laughed and cried with me. So I said that it would be good if such a good friend could debut with me. It felt good to say that and I was happy to be able to debut with you.”

He further added, “When I cry in the bathroom, you’re there to cry with me. You come at dawn to laugh with me. You care about me and have me in your thoughts. I love you buddy.”

The letter left Jimin in tears, who said, “I don’t know what others might think. I actually learn a lot from him. He makes me feel good and touches my heart often. That’s when I’m grateful to have Taehyung as my friend. So I want to say I’m grateful.”
