When The Stars Gossip: The highly anticipated sci-fi Kdrama has dropped its teaser, promising an exciting start to 2025. Starring Lee Min-Ho and Gong Hyo-Jin in lead roles, the series offers a thrilling mix of action, humour and emotional depth, set in the uncharted realms of outer space.

The teaser begins with chaos on Earth after a catastrophic meteorite collision. With humanity on the brink of extinction, a spaceship launches as a last-ditch effort to save the planet. However, life in space is anything but smooth. The crew faces unforeseen challenges and personal conflicts aboard the spacecraft, raising questions about their mission's success.

As the voiceover in the teaser describes it, When The Stars Gossip is "a super-class space action that will take responsibility for the new year in 2025." The clip showcases not only the stakes of their mission but also the dynamic relationship between the characters.

In the teaser, Lee Min-Ho and Gong Hyo-Jin share a humorous exchange that adds a lighthearted touch to the drama's high-stakes premise. When Min-Ho's character asks, "Can we save Earth if we go to space?" Hyo-Jin wittily responds, "It’ll be tough!" The banter continues with Min-Ho questioning, "Then what do we do if we go to space?" to which she replies, "Gossip with the stars." This playful dynamic between the leads hints at the unique blend of humour and drama the series promises.

The series revolves around the daily lives of astronauts stationed in space, highlighting their emotions, struggles, and camaraderie in an environment accessible to only a few. The creators aim to showcase the astronauts’ lives in a relatable yet extraordinary setting, covering everything from love and friendship to dreams and conflicts. "We wanted to portray the ordinary lives of astronauts living in space as their everyday story," the makers shared.

Alongside Lee Min-Ho and Gong Hyo-Jin, the series features a stellar supporting cast, including Han Ji-Eun, Huh Nam-Jun, Lee El, Kim Joo-Hun and Oh Jung-Se. When The Stars Gossip is set to premiere on Netflix on January 4, 2025.
