Rajpal Yadav Cheque Bounce News: The legal and financial plight of veteran Bollywood comedian Rajpal Yadav has taken an extraordinary turn, as the film industry rallies to secure his release from prison. In the most significant individual gesture to date, music producer Rao Inderjeet Singh has stepped forward to offer Rs 1.11 crore in financial aid to help clear the actor's mounting debts. Yadav is currently serving a six-month sentence at Tihar Jail after surrendering in a cheque-bounce case involving a debt that has ballooned to nearly Rs 9 crore.
Who Is Rao Inderjeet Singh?
Rao Inderjeet Singh is the founder of Gem Tunes, a prominent music production and distribution label established in 2006. While well-known in the regional music circuits of Punjab and Haryana, this latest act of generosity has brought him into the national spotlight.

His label has been instrumental in the success of several Haryanvi and Punjabi artists and recently expanded into digital series. In a statement shared on Instagram, read, “Through social media, we came to know about Rajpal Yadav’s suffering, which deeply saddened me. Rajpal Yadav is not only a remarkable artist but also a kind and genuine human being. In such difficult times, it is our responsibility to stand by him and his family. On behalf of the Gem Tunes family, I am extending legal aid of Rs 1.11 crore. Our team is actively working on this. I humbly appeal to people across India to come forward and support the family in this challenging phase.”

Meanwhile, Rao Inderjeet Singh is not the only figure attempting to rescue the Bhool Bhulaiyaa star. A collective effort is currently underway to raise the necessary funds before Maha Shivratri. Sonu Sood was among the first to help, offering Yadav a role in an upcoming film with an immediate signing amount. Tej Pratap Yadav has pledged Rs 11 lakh in financial assistance and Kamal R Khan has also committed Rs 10 lakh to the cause.
