Gulshan Devaiah is one of the top emerging actors in Bollywood and enjoys a healthy fandom across the nation. He is known for his changing acting graph and range in his films and has given a series of hits in the past years. He rose to fame with his roles in ‘Hate Story’, ‘Hunterrr’ and ‘Shaitan’, and was recently seen in ‘Guns And Gulaabs’ released on Netflix. The actor recently recalled the moment when he met Shah Rukh Khan at his bungalow, Mannat, but called the experience to be ‘uncomfortable.’
Talking on IVM Pop podcast, Gulshan termed the experience to be ‘excruciating’ and ‘uncomfortable’ as he felt that he didn’t deserve to be there. He also described the huge entrance and interior details of the bungalow which left him in an awe. According to a report in India Today, he said, “I’ve met him once, been to his house, spent three excruciating hours because at that point I was very uncomfortable. Early years. I was super nervous. There were so many other people also. There was a party in his house, and I was like, ‘What am I doing here? I don’t deserve to be here. I’m just here because I’m friends with some other people who are here.”

Gulshan Devaiah further talked about the interiors and added, “There’s a big marble statue of, I think, Radha Krishna. It was quite beautiful. Big dining table with lots of lights on the floor. I didn’t see the entire house because we were only in the area where they entertain the guests, which is quite a big area. It starts from the side and joins the main Mannat, the old building. But the actual residential area is the Mannat annexure, which is the building at the back.”
He said that the old building has been conserved due to regulations of heritage properties and talked about the popular gate of Mannat which is ‘just for show’ for the fans, but the actual entrance is somewhere else.
