Ranbir Kapoor made his roaring comeback on the big screen last year with 'Brahmastra: Part 1' and is on the move bagging big-budget films in his kitty and also got an overwhelming response for 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.'

The film co-starring Shraddha Kapoor marked the return of Ranbir Kapoor in the segment of romantic-comedy after his 2013 superhit film 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.' 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' is directed by Luv Ranjan.

According to a report in News18, the actor recently opened up about the rumors of his upcoming projects where he said, "Even though Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is a rom-com, there's something happening in the plot of the film every five minutes which is engaging and entertaining. It's not just one track. Rom-coms can get boring when it's linear but this one has ups and downs."

He further stated, "It's got drama, romance and it's hilarious. But it's definitely like none of the characters that I have played. The heartbreak that I go through in this film is a new kind of heartbreak. It's not the heartbreak that you probably have seen me go through before."

Apart from 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' the actor is also juggling between his daddy duties and shooting for his next release 'Animal' alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri, and is made under the direction of Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

The actor thus talked about spending time with Raha and said, "I haven't signed anything. But hopefully, in the coming months, I will hear about a couple of subjects. I'm in no hurry myself. I have my daughter to attend to now, so even if I'm sitting at home for a year, I'm more than happy to. But right now I don't have anything apart from Animal and Brahmastra 2."

Ranbir also put an end to the rumors going making rounds of being cast in Ramayana helmed by Nitesh Tiwari which is in the making for five years now. Ranbir just simply said, "It's a rumor. It's not true."

He also addressed the rumors of being considered for YRF's 'Dhoom 4' where he added, "I wish I was Aditya Chopra to answer this… I'd love to be a part of those films or Dhoom 4 or any film of that nature, but as of now nothing has been offered to me."
