Yash Set To Return For KGF 3; Prashanth Neel Says 'We Already Have A Script'

Prashanth Neel and Yash's 'KGF' left an indelible mark on Indian cinema, shattering numerous box office records upon its release. Their collaboration continued with 'KGF 2', which soared as a blockbuster. Presently, the director has officially announced the development of the third chapter in this gripping gangster saga.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, he said, "KGF 3 will happen. I don’t know if I am the director or not but Yash will always be a part of it. On a serious note, KGF 3 will happen and we didn’t announce it for the sake of it. We already have a script. We had decided on the script before making the announcement. Yash is a very responsible individual and won’t put out things for just commercial reasons. We were sure to have things on paper before making an official announcement at the end of KGF 2."

Prashanth further talked about his maiden collaboration with NTR JR. He said, "It’s going to be a different film with different emotions. I don’t want to get into the genre but I know, people will assume it to be an action film.  I want to call it a very new story for me, which I want to tell my audience. It has got its own emotion and I hope people relate to it."

Meanwhile, Neel is currently preparing for the imminent release of 'Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire'. This action-packed thriller is helmed by director Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur. Featuring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles, the film also includes an ensemble cast comprising Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju.
