Veteran actress Zeenat Aman is all set to bring her grace and sassy charm to the upcoming rom-com series The Royals. A glimpse of the actress as the regal Maji Sahiba in the trailer has impressed viewers and they are looking forward to seeing her on screen again. Ahead of the release on the OTT platform Netflix, Zeenat shared a special post for her co-star Ishaan Khatter and praised his courtesy and grace toward her on set.
Zeenat Aman Pens Post For Royals Co-Star Ishaan Khatter
On Tuesday, Zeenat Aman took to her Instagram and shared a still featuring her with Ishaan Khatter from their upcoming series, The Royals. Along with a long note, which started by apologising to her fans for their anticipation about her series on the Kapoors. She clarified that currently she busy with the promotions of The Royals.
She went on to say this is an honest and earnest appreciation for the teamwork and effort that went into creating The Royals. Her note read, "The truth is that as I get older, shoot schedules leave me exhausted. At the end of a 10 to 12 hour workday that involves tedious time in the makeup chair, heavy costumes and jewellery, searing heat and frenzied activity, I am left with swollen ankles and drooping eyes. It’s all quite unglamorous, but then I watch myself on screen and see what a coup the team managed. My character Maji Sahiba is absolutely entitled, queenly, tart and intimidating, just as she was scripted!"
Appreciating Ishaan's attentiveness on the sets towards her wellbeing, she stated, "Now, while every member of the cast and crew did their best to ensure my comfort, I must admit I am most charmed by the young Mr. Khatter. Here is a boy whose star is on the rise, yet he made it a point to prioritise my wellbeing. From assisting me down the stairs to my vehicle, to bringing me fresh ginger ale to sip on between takes and conjuring up cushions for the uncomfortable plastic chair I had to sit on during readings, he exhibited the courtesies and grace I thought had become virtues of the past. I also witnessed his immense dedication to his work as he honed his horse-riding and dancing skills to really embody his royal character."

Showering blessing on him and for his future, Amaz added, "@ishaankhatter , you have an ally in me and I give you all my blessings for a successful career (and meaningful personal life)."
After her post, Ishaan commented, " Zeenat ji with heart and Crying Face emojis."
About The Royals: The rom-com web series brings the clash between a prince and a tech startup entrepreneur after their worlds collide with each other. The business deal blooms into romance. The show stars Ishaan Khatter, and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead along with Mohit Verma, Nora Fatehi, Dino Morea, Chunky Pandey, Sakshi Tanwar, Zeenat Aman and others in pivotal roles. Directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana, the rom-com is written by Neha Veena Sharma. The show is set to premiere on Netflix on May 9.
