Once the DPR is finalised, the project, aimed at significantly improving connectivity between Delhi and Gurugram, will move into the construction phase.
Intending to further improve connectivity between Delhi and Gurugram, the central government has planned to build an approximately 30 km-long expressway from AIIMS to Gurugram via Mahipalpur. The expressway will be connected to the Gurugram-Faridabad road near Ghata village in Gurugram.
