In the evening in Krishna Kunj area of Maruti Kunj, under the jurisdiction of the Bhondsi police station, a speeding car driven by a 15-year-old boy ran over a seven-year-old child. Due to the high speed, the vehicle dragged the child for nearly 20 meters, causing him to get stuck in the bonnet. Following the incident, locals apprehended the teenager and handed him over to the police. It is also reported that the gathered crowd assaulted the minor driver.

The child died on the spot as a result of the accident. According to the police, the victim has been identified as Yuhan, the son of Ashwini Kumar, who is originally from Iglas in Aligarh. Ashwini Kumar has been residing in Krishna Kunj for about 15 years and works as a building material supplier. The incident occurred around 7:00 pm on Friday when the child was playing in the street outside his house.

At that moment, a speeding Maruti Suzuki SX4 car arrived and crushed the child. The vehicle was being driven by a minor. The police have currently detained the teenager and sent him to the Civil Hospital for a medical examination. The police are also investigating to determine the owner of the car that the teenager was driving.
