After two days of relief, the weather in Gurugram district changed again on Sunday. The sky was overcast since Sunday morning, and cold winds made people feel the chill once more. Light drizzle was recorded in the rural areas of Gurugram. On Sunday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.2 degrees Celsius and the maximum at 20.0 degrees Celsius.

The sky was cloudy from Sunday morning onwards and the sun was not visible throughout the day. The sky remained covered with clouds from morning until evening. Previously it had rained last week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Following that, bright sunshine on Thursday, Friday and Saturday made it seem as though the weather was warming up, but snowfall in the hilly regions has once again changed the weather in the plains.

Impact Of Snowfall On The Plains

On Sunday, people kept looking towards the sky all day, hoping for sunshine. However, the possibility of rain persisted due to the clouds. Due to the cold weather, bonfires were seen burning in many places in both rural and urban areas. People found relief by warming themselves near the bonfires. As it was a holiday, most people stayed indoors.
