The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday has voiced serious apprehensions regarding the safety of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, claiming that the AAP convenor is receiving life threats. AAP leader Sanjay Singh accused the BJP and the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) of undermining Kejriwal's security following his release on interim bail by the Supreme Court in connection to the Delhi liquor policy case. Singh cited multiple instances of threats against Kejriwal, including the notes written inside metro trains and Patel Nagar and Rajiv Chowk metro stations.

Singh asserted that BJP's discomfort with the Supreme Court's decision is evident, noting remarks made by Home Minister Amit Shah questioning the apex court's verdict.

According to Singh, the threats against Kejriwal are not isolated incidents but part of a pattern orchestrated by the ruling BJP government. Singh pointed fingers at the BJP, alleging that the entire plot is directed by the PMO.

Sanjay Singh alleged that PM Modi, BJP has hatred against Kejriwal and said ‘if they are losing in elections, doesn’t mean they will act in this way.” He warned that if any harm were to befall Kejriwal, the BJP, PMO, and Narendra Modi would bear responsibility. “If any attack or whatsoever happens to Arvind Kejriwal, then BJP, the PMO and Narendra Modi will be responsible for it,” Singh said.

Singh also raised concerns about Kejriwal's health during his time in jail, highlighting a lack of access to insulin for 23 days until the court intervened. Sanjay Singh said that AAP will write a letter to the Election Commission, seeking intervention or investigation into the matter. 

AAP leader Atishi also targetted BJP for planning such attacks. She mentioned the recent Swati Maliwal assault case in which Kejriwal's close aide  Bibhav Kumar was arrested.

"A conspiracy was hatched against Arvind Kejriwal by using Swati Maliwal ji as a pawn. The whole country saw the truth of Swati ji's allegations in the video that came out from CM House. Now BJP is down to its last resort and they are plotting to kill Kejriwal," She said.
