Amid the ongoing row over the Delhi government's welfare scheme, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday asked its ally Congress to break ties if it does not take action against its party leader Ajay Maken within 24 hours. AAP leader Sanjay Singh, while addressing a press conference on Thursday also alleged that Maken made remarks on directions of the BJP.
"Congress leader Ajay Maken reads the script sent by BJP and targets AAP leaders. Arvind Kejriwal made arrangements for electricity, water, health and education for the people of Delhi but Congress called Kejriwal a traitor. Congress has crossed all limits. Congress high command should take action against Ajay Maken within 24 hours, otherwise we will demand to separate Congress from India alliance," said AAP MP Sanjay Singh on Thursday.

Delhi CM Atishi, who addressed the press conference alongside Singh, too attacked Congress and demanded clarification from the party over Congress leader Ajay Maken's remark calling Arvind Kejriwal "anti-national", and a complaint filed by the (Youth) Congress party against the AAP supremo and the Delhi CM.
She alsolevelled major allegations against the Congress party. She stated that they (AAP) have received information that the Bharatiya Janata Party is funding candidates of the Congress, including that of Sandeep Dikshit.
"Congress’ actions have made it evident that it has joined hands with BJP for the Delhi elections. Yesterday, senior Congress leader Ajay Maken said that Kejriwal is anti-national. Did they raise any such voice against any BJP leader? No, but they are doing that with AAP. Yesterday, the (Youth) Congress party filed an FIR against Arvind Kejriwal and me. Third thing, we have come to know from official sources that the BJP is funding Congress candidates including Sandeep Dixit… We demand answers, otherwise, we will hold talks with INDIA alliance partners that we cannot stay with Congress party in an alliance anymore," she said.

Congress Releases 'Mauka Mauka Har Bar Dhokha' Booklet Against BJP, AAP Govt
On Wednesday, Congress Delhi President Devendra Yadav, along with party leader Ajay Maken and other members released a booklet titled 'Mauka Mauka Har Baar Dhokha,' which details the alleged wrongdoings of Arvind Kejriwal's 11-year government and the 10-year government of the BJP.
Addressing a press conference, Delhi Congress president Devendra Yadav, said, "Today, we are releasing a booklet on the wrong deeds of the 11 years of Arvind Kejriwal's Govt and 10 years of BJP's Government."

Yadav claimed that the people of Delhi feel betrayed by both the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the BJP, despite the promises made by these governments.

"For the last 11 years, the AAP has governed Delhi, and for the past 10 years, the BJP has been in power at the centre. The citizens of Delhi elected both parties in hope, but after 11 years, they feel let down. During the 15 years that the Congress government, led by Sheila Dikshit, was in power in Delhi, significant advancements were made in areas such as development, pollution control, women's rights, pensions for the elderly, and providing ration cards and gas cylinders to the needy. Those 15 years laid a strong foundation for making Delhi a world-class city," Yadav said.
BJP Accused Kejriwal, Atishi Of 'Political Fraud'
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday accused the AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi CM Atishi of committing 'political fraud'. The party also challenged the ruling AAP and Atishi to show notifications of the schemes.
Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva also held a press conference on Wednesday and said that there is still time for Kejriwal to apologise to Delhi's public for "fake" 'Mahila Samman' and 'Sanjeevani' schemes.
