Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke reacted to the FIR registered against him over his alleged unauthorised entry into a Zilla Parishad school in Latur’s Ausa with a rather unusual social media post.

Taking to X, Dipke shared a video featuring a stanza from Kishore Kumar’s song ‘Yeh Jeevan Hai’. The lyrics, which reflect on accepting life as it comes, appeared to be his response to the FIR.

“Yeh Jeevan Hai, Is Jeevan Ka, Yahi Hai, Yahi Hai, Yahi Hai Rungroop (This is life; this is what this life is, this is, this is, this is its nature),” the lyrics read.

Dipke also shared the news report on his Instagram Stories, along with a meme featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi that said, “Oh my god.” He accompanied the post with the same stanza from the Kishore Kumar song.image (3)

Why Was Abhijeet Dipke Booked?

Dipke, along with CJP party worker Ajinkya Shinde and other party workers, was booked at the Ausa police station in Maharashtra’s Latur district.

The FIR was filed after Sayyed Shamshadbano Khairatali, a 53-year-old teacher at the Zilla Parishad Urdu school in Jawali near Ausa, submitted a complaint. Based on the complaint, police registered a case under Sections 132, 329(3), 351(2) and 356(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

According to the complaint, Dipke and his associates allegedly entered the school premises without obtaining permission from the authorities. They reportedly interacted with students and questioned the condition of the school.

The complaint further alleged that their presence and actions disrupted educational and government work and that the group also threatened teachers.

Visit Was Part Of ‘School Thik Karo’ Campaign

Dipke’s visit to the Latur school was part of CJP’s ‘School Thik Karo’ campaign, which was launched on August 15, Independence Day.

The campaign began with Dipke visiting a government school in his native village of Santuk Pimpri in Maharashtra’s Hingoli district. The initiative aims to highlight the condition of government schools.

However, the campaign has run into opposition from authorities in several places. Government and civic bodies have denied CJP volunteers permission to enter certain schools without prior approval.

In Mumbai, the civic education department recently barred CJP volunteers from entering municipal schools without permission. CJP members had attempted to inspect schools in Colaba and Wadala but were denied entry.
