Aero India 2025: Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) has announced changes to airspace closure timings from February 5 to 14 for the upcoming Aero India 2025 airshow. Passengers have been advised to check with their airlines for potential flight disruptions and plan their travel accordingly.
Revised Flight Restrictions at Bengaluru Airport
As per the official advisory, airspace closures will be implemented on multiple days to accommodate the event. The revised timings are as follows:
- February 5, 6, and 8: No flight operations from 9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 4:30 PM
- February 7 and 9: Airspace closed from 9 AM to 11 AM; additional closure from 3 PM to 4:30 PM on February 7
- February 10: Restrictions from 9 AM to 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM
- February 11 and 12: Flight operations halted between 12 PM and 2:30 PM
- February 13 and 14: No flights from 9:30 AM to 12 PM and 2:30 PM to 5 PM
Travelers are urged to stay updated on flight schedules to avoid any last-minute inconveniences.

Traffic Advisory and Free Shuttle Services
With large crowds expected, Bengaluru Police have introduced traffic diversions to manage congestion near the event venue. Authorities have designated free parking spaces at GKVK Campus and Jakkur Airfield, where visitors can park their vehicles.
To ease transportation, BMTC will provide free shuttle bus services between these parking areas and the Aero India venue.
Passengers and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and use public transport wherever possible to avoid traffic delays.
