Gwalior Agra Expressway: Now three expressways will be connected to the Inner Ring Road. The third expressway is the Gwalior-Agra Expressway. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) Gwalior section is constructing this expressway and the work will be completed in 24 months. The work of the third phase of the inner ring road will be completed by September. The third phase road will be connected to the Gwalior highway and the work is being carried out by the NHAI Agra section. The work of the second phase of the road has already been completed, jagran.com reported.

The inner ring road is being constructed in three phases to connect the state's first Yamuna Expressway and second Lucknow Expressway, National Highway-19 to Gwalior Highway. The work of the first phase was completed during the SP regime. This road is from the highway to Fatehabad Road.

The second phase road was constructed by ADA from Fatehabad Road to Deori Road. The third phase road is being constructed by NHAI Agra section. The bridge construction work near Deori Canal is in its final stage. The road will be ready by September. The road will be connected to Gwalior Highway. Gwalior-Agra Expressway will be ready in two years. The expressway will be connected to the third phase road.

Approach Road Will Be Constructed

The new southern bypass is also connected to the Gwalior highway. Project Director, NHAI Agra section Sandeep Yadav said that the third phase of the road will be ready by September. The road will be connected to the Gwalior highway and the expressway.

NHAI Agra section has started the work of raising the second high tension line of the northern bypass by 11 meters. The electricity department is cooperating in this work. This work will be completed by June 24. Vehicles will be tested from Raipura Jat Mathura to Midawali Hathras for two days. The bypass will be opened on June 27.

Earlier the bypass was to be opened on May 31 but this work got delayed due to raising the height of two high tension lines. The northern bypass has also been connected to the Yamuna Expressway. With the opening of the bypass, the pressure of vehicles on the Sikandra intersection on National Highway-19 will be reduced. One can reach Khandauli from Raipura Jat in just 20 minutes.
