Ahmedabad Plane Crash: Days after the devastating crash of Air India Flight 171 in Ahmedabad, the body of an air hostess was discovered in the tail section of the wrecked Boeing 787 Dreamliner, officials confirmed on Saturday. The aircraft, which was en route to London, crashed just 33 seconds after takeoff, killing 241 people on board and several others on the ground.

The body was recovered by the National Security Guard (NSG) team, which has been assisting in the investigation. NSG sources told News18, “While doing so, NSG discovered the body as it was in an inaccessible part of the plane.” The late discovery highlights the severe impact and destruction caused by the crash.

Officials from the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) said that the black box has been recovered from the wreckage and is now being analysed. “Today is day 2 of the probe. We are carrying out our investigation. The Civil Aviation Ministry will apprise you of progress,” AAIB officials said.

The Dreamliner aircraft crashed into the hostel mess building of BJ Medical College, which housed several students, many of whom were among the casualties. Harrowing visuals of the explosion and wreckage have since circulated widely on social media.

The crash took place just 33 seconds after takeoff from Ahmedabad, with the aircraft slamming into a hostel complex near BJ Medical College. Harrowing visuals of the crash circulated online, showing the fireball that followed the impact. Only one person is known to have survived.
