An Air India venture fired four of its senior executives after a video of their office party went viral on the internet, days after the deadly Ahmedabad plane crash. Air India also issued warnings to several other employees. The event took place at the AISATS Gurugram office. In the viral video, the employees were seen dancing and celebrating in the office. The video sparked debates and outrage on social media, prompting the authorities to take strict disciplinary action against the employees.

Responding to the criticism, the AISATS spokesperson told NDTV, “At AISATS, we stand in solidarity with families affected by the tragic loss of AI 171 and deeply regret the lapse in judgment reflected in a recent internal video.”

“The behaviour does not align with our values, and firm disciplinary action has been taken against those responsible as we reaffirm our commitment to empathy, professionalism, and accountability,” the spokesperson further said.
