Delhi Red Fort Car Blast Update: Dr Shaheen Saeed and Muzammil Shakeel, both involved in the Delhi Red Fort car blast case, had purchased a Maruti Suzuki Brezza, one of the three vehicles reportedly prepared to transport explosives or deliver bombs. The Brezza, considered the third suspicious vehicle, was recovered from Al-Falah University in Dhauj on November 13. The terror module had acquired three cars for its operation: a Hyundai i20, a red Ford EcoSport, and the Maruti Brezza.
The photograph shows Saeed and Shakeel, both doctors associated with Al-Falah University in Faridabad, buying the silver-colored Brezza from a showroom on September 25. According to the NDTV report, the payment was made in cash.
Authorities revealed that a total of 32 cars, including the Hyundai i20 that detonated near the Red Fort last Monday killing 13 people, were allegedly intended for a series of 'revenge' attacks targeting multiple sites, including six locations in Delhi on December 6, the anniversary of the 1992 demolition of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya.

Officials said the Brezza was found in the university’s parking lot during a detailed inspection of vehicles linked to the arrested doctors. “Over 30 vehicles on the medical college campus have been checked, and ownership records are being verified. The suspicious car is being examined by the Jammu and Kashmir Police as part of the ongoing investigation,” said Faridabad Police spokesperson Yashpal Singh.
In addition, a Maruti Swift Dzire was seized last Monday, containing an assault rifle and ammunition. A red Ford EcoSport, registration DL10 CK 0458, was discovered abandoned in Faridabad the following Wednesday.
