Allu Arjun's Residence Vandalised: A group of individuals, identifying themselves as members of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee, reportedly vandalized flower pots and other belongings at the Hyderabad residence of renowned Telugu actor Allu Arjun on Sunday. The protestors were demanding justice for the woman who lost her life in the stampede during the screening of Pushpa-2.

The police stated that the protesters threw tomatoes at the actor’s residence and clashed with security personnel. After receiving the information, the Jubilee Hills Police reached the place and arrested six people.

The protesters, who raised slogans against Pushpa-2 actor Allu Arjun, called for financial assistance of Rs 1 crore for the woman's family, who died during the screening of the movie at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre. According to news agency PTI, Arjun was not present at his residence when the incident took place. 

CM Reddy Condemns Incident

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy strongly condemned the incident and instructed the state Director General of Police and the city police commissioner to take strict action against those involved in the attack. 

Reacting to the incident, Allu Arjun’s father and veteran producer Allu Aravind said he would let the law take its course.

“You have seen what happened outside our house. But this is the time for us to observe restraint. We should not react to all this at present. Police came and took them away. They later filed a case. Police are ready to take away if anyone comes here to cause any trouble," Arjun’s father said. 

BJP Attacks Congress

Meanwhile, BJP's IT Cell Chief, Amit Malviya, has accused the Congress party of targeting Allu Arjun in retaliation for his refusal to campaign for them. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Malviya condemned the stone-pelting incident at the actor's house, labelling it as "state-sponsored terrorism."

Sharing a video on the platform, Malviya alleged that Congress was behind this act due to Allu Arjun's decision not to support their campaign. 

BJP’s Telangana state chief also condemned the incident and said, “The incident of stone pelting at actor Allu Arjun’s residence in Hyderabad highlights the shocking failure of law and order under the Congress government in the state."
