Preparations for advance registration at 533 bank branches across the country have been completed. Registration is scheduled to begin on April 14, but due to a government holiday, banks will remain closed. Therefore, registration will now begin on Tuesday, April 15.

Registration will be done at 533 branches of four banks:

309 branches of Punjab National Bank

91 branches of Jammu and Kashmir Bank

34 branches of Yes Bank

99 branches of State Bank of India

Twenty of these branches are located in Jammu and Kashmir. The registration fee is Rs150. Pilgrims can register for either of the two Yatra routes, Pahalgam or Baltal, and will receive different colored slips for each route. As in previous years, registration will be completed using Aadhaar-based biometric verification.

A health certificate is required to register. The Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board has shared the list of approved hospitals, clinics, and doctors in all states and union territories to help people get their health certificates easily.

In Jammu city, health certificates can be made at Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Government Hospital Sarwal, Rajiv Gandhi Hospital, and Sub-District Hospital Jagti. Registration centers have been set up in all 20 districts of the state.

To register, the health certificate must be dated April 8 or later. People have started obtaining their health certificates and can visit the banks on April 15 to complete their registration using their Aadhaar card and biometric data.

The process of making health certificates will continue throughout the Yatra. Only people between the ages of 13 and 70 can register.

The Jammu and Kashmir administration is working hard to ensure the safety and comfort of all devotees. Steps are being taken to improve accommodation, food services (langars), medical support, and security. Special arrangements are also being made to handle the expected rise in the number of pilgrims.

The 48th board meeting of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) was held on March 5, 2025, at Raj Bhavan and was led by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. The meeting focused on improving facilities, managing logistics, and making sure the yatra is smooth and well-organized for everyone.
