Odisha-Gujarat Amrit Bharat Train: In a major push to boost rail connectivity, Indian Railways (IR) has decided to introduce Amrit Bharat Express trains between Odisha and Gujarat. The Amrit Bharat Express train is slated to operate between Brahmapur in Odisha and Udhna near Surat in Gujarat.

The exact date and time of launch of the Amrit Bharat train have not been announced yet, but it is expected to be rolled out soon, The Indian Express reported. This move comes as part of a broader initiative to strengthen rail connectivity across the country and offer affordable and high-quality service to the passengers.

Odisha-Gujarat Amrit Bharat Train: Check Route, Stoppages, Speed

- The Amrit Bharat Express train will run from Brahmapur in Odisha to Udhna near Surat in Gujarat.

- In its journey, the train will stop at 12 stations, including Palasa, Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Titlagarh, Raipur, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Bhuzaval, Jalgaon, and Nandurbar.

- The Brahmapur (Odisha) to Udhna (Surat) Amrit Bharat Express train will run at a maximum speed of 130 kmph.

- The exact launch date and time have not been announced yet. However, the Brahmapur-Udhna Amrit Bharat Express is likely to begin its operations soon.

- The Indian Railways aims to provide high-quality facilities to the middle class and poor families in Odisha and Gujarat at affordable rates with the launch of the Brahmapur-Udhna Amrit Bharat Express.

- As many as 11 Amrit Bharat Express trains are running across the country, including Darbhanga-Anand Vihar Terminal, Malda Town-SMVT Bengaluru, Mumbai LTT-Saharsa, Rajendra Nagar Terminal-New Delhi, Darbhanga-Gomti Nagar, Malda Town-Gomti Nagar, Bapudham Motihari-Anand Vihar Terminal, Sitamarhi-Delhi, Erode-Jogbani, and Saharsa-Chheharta (Amritsar).
