A man of three met with an unfortunate end after a couple committed suicide with an infant son. The couple, identified as Sriramulu (35) and Sirisha (30), jumped in front of a goods train with their one-and-a-half-year-old son after a fight between them in Andhra Pradesh.
The incident occurred at Kadapa Railway Station around 11:00 pm on Sunday, after a family of three stood on the track of a goods train and was struck by it. The incident was so severe that pieces of their bodies were spread across the track.
Police arrived at the site shortly after the incident was reported and shifted the bodies to RIMS for post-mortem.
Information obtained during the initial investigation revealed that the couple had a heated argument earlier in the evening, and Sriramulu’s mother had scolded them over it. Later, the couple left the home and ended their lives along with an infant on a train track.
The incident included one more unfortunate death, where the mother of Sriramulu met with a tragic end after she suffered a heart attack soon after the couple left home that evening, NDTV reported, quoting local sources.
