Victim Accused TTE Of Raping Her On Pretext Of Arranging Seat

According to a report by Bhaskar English, the victim is a resident of Uttar Pradesh's Mau district and lives in Gorakhpur to prepare for Army recruitment. She was returning to Gorakhpur from her NCC C-Certificate examination when the incident occurred.

According to the complaint, the woman had to board the train without a ticket due to heavy crowds at the ticket counter. She was standing in an air-conditioned coach when the TTE questioned her regarding her identity and travel details.

She alleged that the TTE offered to arrange a seat for her after collecting the prescribed fine and took her to a First AC cabin. After entering the cabin, he reportedly closed the door and raped her, threatening her with legal consequences for travelling without a ticket if she disclosed the incident.
