Delhi Airport News: Delhi Airport is set to introduce an E-Arrival Card facility for foreign travellers starting October 1, streamlining the arrival process by replacing traditional paper-based cards with a digital system.
The initiative aims to reduce waiting times, enhance passenger experience, and promote sustainability by minimising paper usage. In a release issued on Tuesday, the Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) said that the move will smooth the arrival process.

This digital system, launched under the Bureau of Immigration, will facilitate travellers coming to Delhi to fill out the form up to three days before their arrival.
"The new system allows international passengers to fill out their arrival information online through a seamless digital platform, eliminating the need for manual paper-based cards at the airport," the release read.
Delhi Airport’s E-arrival card facility mirrors similar digital arrival card facilities already available at airports in several countries, such as Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea, and Malaysia.
Welcoming the initiative, the CEO of DIAL, Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, said, "We are delighted to join hands with the Bureau of Immigration to launch the E-Arrival Card facility for international passengers.”
