Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal surrendered on Sunday after his 21-day bail period ended on June 1. Soon after he surrendered, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court sent him to judicial custody till June 5. The court gave this decision while hearing the ED's application.
The court's order comes as the ED's application was pending because Kejriwal was out on interim bail. As soon as Kejriwal surrendered, the duty judge of the court Sanjeev Agarwal heard it and sent him to judicial custody till June 5. Let's take a look at how Arvind Kejriwal spent his day before going back to Tihar jail and what happened after he surrendered:

Arvind Kejriwal Holds Press Conference Before Going To Jail
Delhi Chief Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday addressed the press before returning to the jail and said that he was "fighting against this dictatorship and the country cannot tolerate this kind of dictatorship." He further added that Bhagat Singh was hanged for the country, and so he is also ready to be hanged.
Speaking about the results of the exit polls, he called them fake. "Exit polls for 2024 Lok Sabha Elections have come out yesterday. Take it in writing, all these exit polls are fake. One exit poll gave 33 seats to BJP in Rajasthan whereas there are only 25 seats there...The real issue is why they had to do a fake exit poll 3 days before the day of counting. There are several theories regarding this, one of them is that they are trying to manipulate the machines (EVMs)," he said.
