The Enforcement Directorate (ED) may name Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, BRS leader K Kavitha, and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in its supplementary chargesheet in the Delhi Excise Policy case. Reportedly, the chargesheet could be filed before May 15, completing the 60-day deadline since the March 15 arrest of K Kavitha. Meanwhile, the arrest of the Opposition leaders ahead of the elections has drawn massive criticism of the central government from the Opposition.
Meanwhile, Arvind Kejriwal on Monday wrote a letter to the Tihar Jail Superintendent in which he expressed his concern over the jail administration's statements on the issue of insulin and AIIMS doctors assuring of no serious problems to him.
In the letter, CM Arvind Kejriwal said, "I have read the statement of Tihar administration in the newspaper. I felt sad after reading the statement. Both the statements of Tihar are false. I am asking for insulin daily. I showed the glucose metre readings and said that the sugar is going very high three times a day. Sugar goes between 250 to 320."

The AAP convenor said that he has been demanding insulin every day. "I also showed them that my fasting sugar level was in the range of 160-200 every day. Almost every day, I demanded insulin. Then how could you make such a statement that I never raised the issue of insulin?"
AAP Claims Arvind Kejriwal Denied Insulin In Jail
Arvind Kejriwal suffers from Type 2 diabetes. Delhi Minister Atishi on Sunday alleged that the Tihar jail administration has denied insulin to Kejriwal on directions of of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) adding that such cruelty did not even happen under British rule.
"Arvind Kejriwal has been in jail for the last 20 days. He has been a diabetic for 30 years and his sugar level has crossed 300. If you ask any doctor in the world, he will say that a sugar level above 300 can't be controlled without insulin. But, the Tihar administration at the direction of the BJP has denied insulin. Such cruelty even didn't happen under the Britishers. What kind of cruelty is this from the BJP that they're denying insulin to a diabetic having a sugar level above 300," Atishi told ANI.
