Ahead of the much-anticipated Ram Temple Prana Pratishtha event in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday visited Arichal Munai point, the origin point of Ram Setu in Tamil Nadu. As per officials, he is also expected to offer prayers at Sri Kothandarama Swamy Temple in Dhanushkodi. Kothandarama means Rama with the bow. PM Modi will also visit Dhanushkodi, the place where Lord Ram took the vow to defeat Ravana.
PM Modi is following a rigorous routine as he has been observing an 11-day special Anusthan, which he announced in commemoration of the Ram Temple inauguration.

He embarked on this special ritual on Friday and will continue till the consecration event on January 22.
PM Modi on Saturday listened to the Kamba Ramayana recital at Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple. Kampan performed his Ramayana for the first time in public at this temple.

He also took a holy dip into the sea, known as Agni Tirtham. The Shiva temple, tucked away in the Rameswaram island of Tamil Nadu's Ramanathapuram district, also has a connection to the Ramayana, as the Shiva linga here was installed by Shri Ram. Lord Ram and Sita Devi prayed here.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi started his special spiritual expedition by offering prayer at Shree Kala Ram Mandir situated along the banks of Godavari in the Panchavati area of Nashik on Friday. As per the Hindu epic ‘Ramayana,’ Lord Rama spent a significant duration of his exile in the Panchavati forest. It is believed to be a part of the Dandakaranya Forest mentioned in the epic.
On Wednesday, PM Modi visited the Guruvayur Temple in Kerala. He also offered prayers at Thriprayar Shree Ramaswamy Temple. These two temples are among the four temples related to Ramayana, which PM Modi talked about while inaugurating the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya on December 30.

PM Modi also visited the historic Veerabhadra Temple in Andhra’s Lepakshi. This place has immense significance in Ramayana and Hindu religion.
He will be visiting Ayodhya to attend the Ram Temple consecration ceremony tomorrow.
