Barhait Assembly Election Result 2024: Hemant Soren of JMM has registered victory on the Barhait seat by defeating Gamliyel Hembrom of the BJP by 39,416 votes. While Hemant Soren got 94,840 votes, Hembrom could only manage to get 55,424 votes. This is the third consecutive victory for Hemant Soren on the seat, which has been a bastion for the party since 1990. The JMM-led led-INDIA bloc is set to form the government again in Jharkhand.
