When her mother knocked on her bedroom door around 6 AM and received no answer, the family entered the room and found Shravya hanging from the ceiling. Police confirmed that no suicide note was discovered at the scene.

Friends and gymmates mentioned that Shravya had been feeling distressed, partly due to her parents' frequent arguments, which may have contributed to her emotional turmoil. The Bengaluru police have registered a case of unnatural death and an investigation is currently underway.

In a similar tragic incident last month, a 20-year-old student in Bengaluru took his own life after his mother allegedly refused to buy him a new motorcycle. The deceased, identified as Ayyappa, was a second-year degree student.

Reports indicate that Ayyappa had been urging his mother to purchase a bike. Following the death of his father six years ago, his mother began working as a housekeeper to support the family. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, she was unable to afford the bike and asked him to be patient. This situation reportedly contributed to Ayyappa's emotional distress, culminating in his decision to end his life.
