Bengaluru Metro Pink Line: The Namma Metro Pink Line is progressing and will soon help residents in South Bengaluru and Bannerghatta Road to travel around more easily and faster.
The Pink Line has inched closer to reality as the first prototype train, built by BEML, is ready to be unveiled on December 11.
The line will open in two main parts: the first section is expected to open in May 2026, and the rest of the line is expected to open by December 2026. The Pink Line will open in stages, offering neighbourhoods a faster and more reliable transport service, News18 reported.

Details About Bengaluru Namma Metro Pink Line
The Namma Metro Pink Line will run from Kalena Agrahara in the south to Nagawara in the north, using a mix of elevated and underground tracks. The line will serve some of the busiest hubs of Bengaluru, such as business hubs, residential areas, hospitals, and important schools and colleges, the News18 report added.

Bengaluru Metro Pink Line: THESE Areas Will Get Access
The first section of the Pink Line is the elevated section running from Kalena Agrahara to Tavarekere. If the work continues at its current speed, residents in that area could begin using this stretch by May 2026, the report added.
