IndiGo Flight Status Live Updates: Hundreds of IndiGo flights have been suspended on Sunday at multiple airports across the country as the operational crisis enters Day 6 today. The airline claimed to have restored 95 per cent connectivity, and it aims to operate over 15,00 flights on Sunday, December 7.

In a statement shared through social media, IndiGo said that it will revamp its network by operating more than 15,00 flights today and has already restored 95 per cent connectivity, as the airline provided services to 135 of 138 destinations.

The airline aviation watchdog, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), on Saturday issued a show-cause notice to IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers over consistent operational criss and cancellations of several flights in the past few days.

“… as the CEO, you are responsible for ensuring effective management of the airline but you have failed in your duty to ensure timely arrangements for conduct of reliable operations and the availability of requisite facilities to the passengers,” DGCA said in the notice.

IndiGo, India’s largest airline, is facing an operational crisis since FDTL rules were imposed to ensure that no airline overworks its pilots and crew, prompting staff shortage and flight cancellations.
