Namma Metro Timings: The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) on Tuesday announced an extension of metro services on select Indian Premier League (IPL) match days featuring Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in April and May. The last trains will now depart later to accommodate cricket fans returning from the matches.

On IPL match days, the final metro services will leave from the four terminal stations—Whitefield (Kadugodi), Challaghatta, Silk Institute, and Madavara—at 12:30 a.m. Additionally, the last train from Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station (Majestic), the city’s primary transit hub, will depart at 1:15 am in all directions.

The extended metro services will be available on match days scheduled for April 2, 10, 18, and 24, as well as May 3, 13, and 17. The move is aimed at ensuring smooth transportation for spectators attending late-night games at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

BMRCL has previously extended metro services for IPL and other major cricket events in Bengaluru. Most recently, during the Women’s Premier League, Namma Metro operated extended services, helping ease traffic congestion around stadiums.

Passengers can avail themselves of multiple ticketing options, including QR tickets, Smart Cards, National Common Mobility Cards (NCMC) and tokens, ensuring seamless metro access during the extended hours.
