An employee of a popular coffee shop in Bengaluru was arrested for allegedly hiding a mobile phone in the dustbin of the women's washroom to secretly record videos. The incident occurred on Saturday at the Third Wave Coffee outlet located on BEL Road and was reported on Saturday.

The accused, a staffer from Bhadravathi who had been working at the coffee shop for some time, hid his phone in a dustbin in the restroom with the camera facing the toilet seat. The phone was reportedly in flight mode to avoid detection and had been recording for about two hours. A customer discovered the device on Friday morning.

One of the customers present during the incident posted on social media, detailing how a woman found the phone carefully concealed in the dustbin bag, with a hole cut out to expose the camera. The customer described the experience as "horrific" and urged others to remain vigilant in public restrooms.
