Bengaluru Power Cut November 19: Bengaluru will face a scheduled power outage on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, as BESCOM conducts quarterly maintenance at the 220/66/11 kV NRS Receiving Station. In a press release, the utility said the power supply will remain shut from 10 AM to 5 PM to enable maintenance of the 220 kV and 66 kV bus systems and isolators.
Bengaluru Power Cut On November 19: Affected Areas
The affected areas include Manjunathanagara, Shivanagara, Gayathrinagara, Prakash Nagara, Lakshminarayanapura, Subramanyanagara, Vijayanagara, Rajajinagara II Block, 6th Block, Agrahara Dasarahalli, Indiranagara, Shankarmutt, Magadi Road (1st to 10th Cross) and nearby localities.
In separate news, Bengaluru Traffic Police has announced traffic changes for November 17 to manage the heavy rush expected at Begur Nagalingeshwara Temple for the Last Kartika Monday celebrations. Nearly 80,000–90,000 devotees are likely to visit the temple, especially during the Laksha Deepotsava held in the evening. To ease congestion around Begur, several restrictions and route changes will be in place throughout the day.
Traffic Diversions On Begur Road
- Movement will be regulated between PK Kalyana Mantapa Junction and Ekana Hospital Junction on both Begur Road and Manipal County Road.
- Commuters may take a left at Falcon Market and travel via AECS C-Block and Mylasandra to connect to Begur Koppa Road and Bannerghatta Main Road.
- At Ekana Hospital Junction, vehicles should turn left, follow DLF Road through Nyanappanahalli, and proceed towards Devarachikkanahalli, Bommanahalli, and Hongasandra.
- Traffic from DLF Junction can use Nyanappanahalli Road via DEO Heights Layout to reach Hongasandra and Bommanahalli.
- DLF Road and parts of Begur Road near the temple will remain restricted.

Alternative Routes
- Motorists can turn right at PK Kalyana Mantapa Junction, continue on Devarachikkanahalli Road, head to DEO Heights, and follow Nyanappanahalli Road to DLF Junction.
- Those travelling towards Manipal County Road may use the Vishwapriya Layout main road via Chikka Begur.
