Bengaluru Power Cut On April 13: Residents of Bengaluru will have to face power cuts on Sunday, April 13, as authorities have planned a four-hour power outage in many locations, from 11 AM to 3 PM. The planned power outage is due to a planned system maintenance.
Emergency maintenance work is scheduled at the 66/11KV 'C' Station on Sunday. As a result, power supply will be temporarily disrupted in several key areas.
Authorities have appealed to residents to cooperate during this period, and efforts will be made to restore electricity as quickly as possible. Citizens can contact the BESCOM helpline for any complaints or assistance.
Bengaluru Power Cut: Check Affected Areas
Vidhanasoudha, Ganesha Temple RMU, Miller Road., Jayamahal, MK Street., Cunningham Road, Kemp Road, Benson Town, Spencer Road, SG Road, RMZ Milenia, B&LC Hospital, Chikkabazar Road, Geneva House, Thimmaiah Road, Tasker Town, PG Halli, Haines Road, Chandraya, Muneshwar City, Shivajinagar and surrounding areas.
Three weeks before, residents of Bengaluru's Bellandur and Whitefield neighbourhoods experienced an unusual power outage. At the time, there was anger since the power loss lasted more than 36 hours.
Many impacted individuals vented their dissatisfaction on social media sites like Reddit and Twitter over the protracted power outage and the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company's (BESCOM) tardiness in providing timely updates.
The power outage began late at night and has persisted for more than a day and a half.
