Bengaluru Power Cut: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has announced that several regions of Bengaluru will witness power cuts on February 25 due to the maintenance work. The authority stated that several regions will face power outages for eight hours between 10 am and 6 pm. It further stated that the power will be restored once the maintenance work is finished, further advising the residents to plan their day accordingly to avoid any inconveniences. The KPTCL has conducted maintenance work in several regions of the capital city in the past few weeks, leading to the power outages.

"Electricity supply will be suspended in the surrounding areas on Feb 25 due to emergency maintenance work," BESCOM said in its advisory. The Assistant Executive Engineer of Hebbur Sub-Division has advised the electricity consumers to cooperate with BESCOM during the maintenance work.

Earlier on February 22, several regions, including HMT Road, RNS Apartment, CMTI, Bor Lingappa Garden, Peenya Police Station Road, Telephone Exchange, 6th Cross, Reliance Communication area, Ganapatinagar Main Road, Police Thane Road, Chamundipur, Muneshwar Temple Road, MC Layout, Malayali Guest House Road, KHB Layout, Rajeshwarinagar, Akash Theater Road, Friends Ruckal, Vignan Public School Road, Bhairaveshwar Nagar, Bank Colony, Division Road, Rajagopal Nagar, GKW Layout, and ESIC Hospital faced power cut.
