Bengaluru Power Cut: The IT Hub will witness planned power outages from September 28 to September 30, as the Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) and Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) carry out maintenance work on the city's electrical infrastructure. The power cut will impact various areas across Bengaluru, mostly occurring between 10 am and 6 pm, though some may end earlier at around 5:30 pm.
Maintenance Work and Power Disruptions
The power agencies have planned these outages to carry out crucial tasks, including Jalasiri 24x7 water supply work, reconducting, RMU maintenance, jump repair and replacement, tree trimming, and other improvement works, as per an HT report.

Bengaluru Power Cut: Affected Areas
September 28: Areas such as Madhugiri Town, Siddapura Gate, Aralapura, Kondavadi, Dasarahalli Dinne, Sjm Nagara, and Smk Nagara, along with parts of Vijayanagara Badavane, Karl Marx Nagar, Siddarameshwar Nagar, and surrounding areas, will experience disruptions.
September 29: Power interruptions are expected in areas like Rajmane & Hegde Services, Omkar Rice Mill, Vigneshwara Granites, Balaji Transport, Dodderi, Banagarahalli, and surrounding localities including Sunkadakatte, Hoysalanagara, and Tent Road.
September 30: Power cuts will affect Indo Auto, Om Shakthi, Guru Sai, Naga Praveen, and Mann Hummel areas.
Bengaluru Power Cut: Areas Affected Throughout The Period
Muthakadalli, Gunnahalli, Madabahalli, Nayandrahalli, and Chanakeshavapura will face power disruptions on all three days, from September 28 to 30.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to plan accordingly during these outages, as BESCOM and KPTCL carry out essential infrastructure maintenance.
