Bengaluru Power Cut Today: The Bangalore Electricity Distribution Company (BESCOM) has announced a shutdown in multiple areas in Bengaluru on Monday, December 29, in view of maintenance work. The supply will be disrupted till 5 pm. BESCOM has urged residents to cooperate during this time to avoid inconvenience. 

Bengaluru Power Cut Areas

As per BESCOM there will be a power cut in the Challakere division. Areas around Sanikere, Somaguddu, Gopanahalli, Sanikere branch area will be affected.

As per BESCOM there will be a power cut in Malleswaram division's C-6 sub-division. Lottagollahalli, Munihanumayya Colony, RK Udyan, Sanjeevappa Colony, MLA Layout, Netaji Nagar, Pipeline Road, Mattikere, Mohan Kumar Nagar, KP Park, Akkiyappa Udyan, BK Nagar, LIC Colony, Pampa Nagar, 1st Main Road Yeshwanthpur, HMT Layout, LCR School Road, Gokul 1st Phase, Gurumurthy Reddy Colony, Brindavan Nagar and surrounding areas will be affected.

Bapuji Nagar, Kavita Layout, Ranganath Colony, Batarayanapura Aiyanna Shetty Layout, Ganapathi Nagar, Pride Apartment, Deepanjali Nagar, Patel Puttaiah Industrial Area, BHEL, Muttachari Industrial Area, Jyothi Nagar, Gangondanahalli, Ajith Sir Industrial Area, Vinayak Layout, Metro Layout, Nayandahalli, Batarayanapura Mysore Road, Shobha Tent Road, Guddadahalli Extension, Global Village Tech Park, RR Nagar and surrounding areas will also be affected.

On December 28, BESCOM announced shutdown in regions surrounding BESCOM's 66/11 KV Byadarahalli and 66/11 KV Srigandhakal stations for seven hours between 10 am and 5 pm.The KPTCL has conducted maintenance work in several regions of the capital city in the past few weeks, leading to the power outages.
