Teachers Absent, Toddlers Thrash One Student In Bengaluru Pre-School; Outrage Pours On Internet | Watch

JE News Desk: A video has gone viral on social media that shows a toddler, who along with other kids was left unsupervised, getting beaten by another kid at a pre-school in Bengaluru. One of the kids in the video can be seen hitting the other child repeatedly and quite badly. The video led to immense outrage on social media.

The whole scene was captured by the CCTV camera that was installed in the room. As the video starts, a woman in a blue saree can be seen entering the room and taking a child out. After that, the rest of the kids were just left alone and they were seen clinging to the window screens.

Several toys lay around them and there was no one in the room keeping and eye on them. Soon, one of the kids approaches another starts landing blows on the other kid. For a long time, the kid keeps beating the other kid and he would stop for a while and then again start thrashing him. After a while, another kid could seen approaching the child being thrashed, and instead of helping, he also joins the other in beating that toddler. Just as this happening, there was not one adult present there to stop this bullying.

Several people also shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp message on Twitter. In that message a neighbour of the victim's parents writes that two kids - Akshara and Aadyanth - were enrolled to Tenderfoot Montessori school. It was Akshara, the person writing the message claimed, who was getting beaten by the other kids. "The kids were left unattended for 10 mins in which anything could have happened to her," the message read. The writer of this message also urges people to not enroll their children in this pre-school.
