Karnataka News: On Tuesday, a video of a Bengaluru taxi driver carrying a man on his car's bonnet for over 400 metres and later crushing him to death, surfaced over social media. The incident which took place on January 15 near the Maramma Temple Circle in Karnataka's Bengaluru was captured on CCTV cameras. According to a report, the duo reportedly got into a spat after their vehicles collided.
The cab driver, identified as Mohammed Munir, was booked under a Non-Cognizable Offense Report (NCAR). The police also launched an investigation into the matter.
According to a report in News18, the authorities have launched a search operation to nab the accused Munir who killed the victim - identified as Ashwath.

The police stated that Muneer and Ashwath argued after their vehicles collided. Ashwath then stepped out of his car and stood on the hood of Muneer's cab to stop him from escaping. However, the cab driver didn't stop and drove about 400 meters with Ashwath on the hood. In a viral CCTV video on social media, several people can be seen running after the cab, asking Muneer to stop, but he didn't.

Muneer's cab hit a pole near the Circle Maramma Temple. This impact caused Ashwath to lose his grip, resulting in a fatal fall, as per a Times Now report. Despite the incident, Muneer didn't stop the cab and managed to escape.
