Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has issued an advisory warning commuters of likely traffic disruptions in the city over the coming days. The congestion is expected mainly due to Navratri and Durga Puja celebrations at Palace Grounds and roadwork on Sarjapur Road.

Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Heavy Congestion On Bellary Road

Traffic officials said that large gatherings for the festivals at Palace Grounds will affect movement on Bellary Road between September 28 and October 2. The area is expected to see heavy pedestrian and vehicle movement, especially in the evenings. Commuters have been advised to plan their journeys early, take alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Additional traffic marshals will be stationed in the area to manage the flow, but congestion is still likely.

Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Partial Closure On Sarjapur Road

From September 30, white-topping work will begin on Sarjapur Road between Automart Junction and Agara Junction. The project will take about two months to complete. During this period, one side of the road will remain closed, leading to significant changes in traffic movement.

Traffic from Koramangala Jakkasandra to Agara and Outer Ring Road will be allowed, while the movement from Agara and Outer Ring Road towards Koramangala Jakkasandra will be restricted.

Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Alternate Routes Suggested

For commuters heading from Outer Ring Road towards Koramangala, BTP has recommended the following route:

Use the Agara Flyover upper ramp, enter the service road at either 19th Main Road Junction or 14th Main Road upper ramp, proceed to the 14th Main Road Junction, then take a right towards Automart side.

Police have urged the public to cooperate with officials and follow signage to minimise delays during this period.
