The Bengaluru Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory ahead of the 17th Bengaluru Midnight Marathon, scheduled for the night of December 14-15. The traffic restrictions will be enforced from 3:00 pm. on December 14 until 5:00 am. on December 15. Key roads, including the stretch from Ginger Hotel Junction near Kundalahalli Metro Station to the ITPL Back Gate, will experience limited vehicular movement on one side.

Bengaluru Traffic Advisory Today

The advisory outlines vehicular restrictions and alternate routes to ensure smooth traffic flow during the event.

- Traffic heading to Vydehi and ITPL will be diverted at Ginger Hotel Junction. Vehicles must take a right turn, proceed along the ITPL Back Gate and head towards Big Bazaar before turning left to Hoodi.

- For those travelling to Hope Farm, the route includes Shantiniketan, followed by a right turn to proceed via Channasandra or Hope Farm.

- BMTC buses and heavy vehicles from Kundalahalli to Vydehi are advised to continue straight at Graphite India Junction, turn left at Sumadhura Nandana Apartments, and proceed to NetApp Junction. From there, they should turn right towards ITPL and Hope Farm.

Organised by the Rotary Bengaluru IT Corridor, the marathon will witness participants from over 20 countries gathering at KTPO, Whitefield, for the event. The Bengaluru Traffic Police has requested commuters to cooperate with the traffic arrangements to ensure a successful and congestion-free marathon night.
